Amazing to see, how a simple 90-degree open-channel bifurcation can sort out particles traveling at different heights, with most of the particles starting near the top continuing into the main-channel and most of the particles starting near the bottom entering the side-channel; even though the total flow is being equally divided between the two channels. This is from one of my upcoming papers.

Why Complex Systems ?!
Complex Systems
Every system in the world, from natural to anthropogenic, is highly complex with multiple connections between different components. The relationship between different components is mostly dyadic, and the components together produce a response that is beautifully intriguing. I am a fluid mechanist by training, and even a simple system of fluids can show multitude of complex behavior once subjected to appropriate boundary conditions. This blog is dedicated to my interest in complex systems. Till now I have primarily analyzed water related systems but the future is Chaotic and Limitless ......
